About this opportunity
The Jason Joseph Estvanik Scholarship Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation in memory of Jason Joseph Estvanik to provide scholarships to graduating seniors at Springdale High School. Jason was a 2001 graduate of Springdale where he played soccer and enjoyed many sports including golf and snow boarding. He joined the Army in 2002 and did four tours overseas, loved helping people who were less fortunate, and assisted many charities while serving. His dream was to design a golf course when he had served his time. This scholarship honors his memory by supporting students who have played soccer for at least three years in high school and demonstrate financial need. Recipients must plan to attend an accredited vocational or technical trade school or 2- or 4-year college or university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
