About this opportunity
The Jason Lang Scholarship was established in 2000 by Alberta Student Aid to recognize the academic achievement of Albertans who have completed at least one year of post-secondary study and are continuing in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year. The scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence with a minimum 3.5 GPA and who maintain full-time enrollment status. Recipients must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons who are Alberta residents enrolled in an undergraduate post-secondary program in Alberta that is at least two years in length. Possible recipients are identified by the Financial Aid & Awards Office at their institution and are contacted in late August each year with application instructions. A list of nominees is then submitted to Alberta Student Aid for final approval, and scholarship funds are paid directly to recipients from the Government of Alberta.
