Javus B. Fortmann Scholarship

The Javus B. Fortmann Scholarship honors Javus Fortmann's dedication to a career in education. She was a leader and educator in the public school system for decades and wanted to inspire others to follow her lead in public school administration and education. This need-based scholarship supports students pursuing education and early childhood education programs. The scholarship is renewable and available to graduating high school seniors in Arizona who maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and enroll full-time in undergraduate or graduate programs. The scholarship aims to encourage the next generation of educators to contribute to Arizona's public school system.
