About this opportunity
SAGE Publishing empowers researchers, educators and institutions to shape the future. As a global academic publisher of books, journals, and a growing suite of library products and services, SAGE's mission is to build bridges to knowledge. To this end SAGE Publications Asia-Pacific are providing funding for a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) grant to Australian Indigenous HDR students at James Cook University. This scholarship is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in a Higher Degree Research program at JCU's Australian Tropical Campuses (Townsville, Cairns or Online). The grant provides $5000 in funding to support research progress and potential publication. Selection is based on the character of the candidate, quality of written statement describing their research project, how funds would be used, and potential publication plans in SAGE journals.
