Jean A. Walsh Scholarship Fund

The Jean A. Walsh Scholarship Fund of The Pittsburgh Foundation provides scholarships for students who will attend Duquesne University's School of Music as undergraduate students enrolled in the Music Therapy degree program. This multi-year scholarship supports students for up to 4 years, provided they maintain enrollment and major requirements. Preference is given to students residing in Allegheny, Washington, or Westmoreland counties in Pennsylvania. Applicants must pursue a degree or studies in music and music therapy at Duquesne University School of Music, with preference for those studying music therapy specifically. Financial need is a key consideration in the selection process. The scholarship was created through The Pittsburgh Foundation to support access to music therapy education and help students achieve their academic goals in this specialized field.
