About this opportunity
The Jean Giles and Thomas Louis Pidcock Violin Scholarship provides support to students studying violin at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Established in 2003 from a donation by Beaufort Investments Pty Ltd, this scholarship is available to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, portfolio and/or performance, and for postgraduate research applicants, research achievements and potential. No application is necessary as eligible students will be automatically considered for this scholarship as part of their admission application to the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. The scholarship value and duration are determined by the Dean of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and stipulated in the scholarship offer letter to successful recipients.
