Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust Grants

The Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust provides grants to charities working in animal welfare in the UK and overseas. Donations are considered three times each year in Spring, Summer and Winter by a panel of up to seven Trustees. The Trust supports various types of animal welfare organizations including rescue centers, sanctuaries, veterinary care facilities, and conservation projects. Trustees and other contacts try to visit charities in their locality when time allows to view the work of applicants and monitor the results of donations given. The Trust encourages repeat applications from supported charities when further financial support might be needed. Donations towards building projects, larger items of equipment, and vehicles often take the form of a pledge.
