About this opportunity
The Jean T. Grant Scholarship honors Jean Terry Grant, a librarian for the City of Columbus and consultant for the Ohio Department of Education who enjoyed painting, reading, gardening, interior design, singing, and philanthropy. Jean created and directed successful performing art shows in the 1970s and 1980s. One of her last wishes was to ensure that a scholarship fund was created to support deserving art students from Columbus City Schools. This scholarship provides financial support to graduating high school seniors from Columbus City Schools who demonstrate academic achievement with a minimum 3.0 GPA and plan to pursue studies in music, music performance, or the arts at a post-secondary institution in the United States, either full-time or part-time.
