Jeanne Houston Scholarship

The Jeanne Houston Scholarship is a bursary established in memory of Jeanne Houston to support female undergraduate students studying language courses at Birkbeck, University of London. The scholarship provides £1,050 to assist students experiencing financial hardship who are enrolled in eligible undergraduate language degree programs including French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, or Spanish. Applications are considered on the basis of need, with priority given to cases where a student would be forced to leave their program without this financial assistance. The scholarship is available for both full-time and part-time students with UK Home fee status who are 21 years of age or older.
