Jeanne Lucie Caroline Marguerite Miles Scholarship

This scholarship was established at Victoria University of Wellington through a bequest made by Philip Henry Miles. The scholarship is awarded biennially to a student of French, specifically to the top performing 100-level student in French who intends to continue their studies in French at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. The award provides approximately $3,000 (subject to funds available) for one year of tenure. The scholarship is designed to support and encourage excellence in French language studies and is available exclusively to New Zealand citizens and permanent residents. Recipients are expected to act as ambassadors for the University and participate in appropriate events or marketing if requested.
