Jeff & Diane Oertel Scholarship

This School of Architecture and Urban Planning (SARUP) scholarship is for first-year undergraduates or transfer students earning their degree in Architecture. Primary consideration is given to those who show motivation and desire to excel, in which previous academic merit will not determine eligibility. The scholarship provides $3,000 in financial support to students enrolled in the School of Architecture & Urban Planning at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. This award is administered through the UWM Foundation and is specifically designed to support students at the beginning of their architectural education journey, whether they are entering as new freshmen or as transfer students.
