Jeffrey and Stacia Lynch Firefighter Scholarship

The Jeffrey and Stacia Lynch Firefighter Scholarship supports undergraduate students at Eastern Illinois University who are children or grandchildren of current or retired firefighters from Macon County, Illinois. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate involvement with community service through a written essay. Any major is eligible, with preference given to students majoring in Art, Music, Theater, Arts, English, History, Philosophy, or Foreign Language. Financial need is not a consideration for this scholarship. The award is announced in the Spring semester and disbursed in the Fall semester.
