Jeffrey K. Kunkel Scholarship

The Kunkel Scholarship provides $1,000 to one UWM student in the College of Letters & Science or in the School of Freshwater Sciences. The award alternates between the two units each year and is chosen based on overall academic merit and financial need. Eligible students must also be enrolled full-time. Students with a completed and up-to-date Panther Scholarship Portal General Application and Awards Application will be considered for scholarships, typically between February and April each spring. Scholarships awarded in the spring apply to the following school year, meaning students graduating that same spring or summer are not eligible.
