Jeffrey P. Knezovich Scholarship in Political Science

The Jeffrey P. Knezovich Scholarship in Political Science is awarded to incoming first-year or transfer students majoring in Political Science at Eastern Illinois University. The scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated academic excellence with a minimum GPA of 3.25 and active participation in student organizations or student government at their previous school. Financial need is not a consideration for this award. Recipients must be full-time students accepted to Eastern Illinois University. The scholarship amount varies and is announced in the Spring semester, with payment disbursed in the Fall semester. Students who receive this award are not eligible to apply for it again in subsequent years. This scholarship provides financial support to help incoming political science students begin their studies at Eastern Illinois University, rewarding both academic achievement and demonstrated leadership through prior involvement in student activities and governance.
