The Jerry and Helen Womack Scholarship for Entrepreneurs or Educators is a merit-based scholarship offered to students at Tarrant County College who are graduates of Azle High School. The scholarship supports students pursuing an associate degree with preference given to those studying business or education. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate academic excellence with a minimum high school GPA of 2.75 and maintain strong academic performance throughout their studies. Recipients must be enrolled full-time with at least 12 credit hours during the award period. The scholarship is renewable for up to four consecutive semesters if students maintain a minimum semester GPA of 3.0 and complete at least 9 credit hours each semester. Preference is also given to applicants who are employed while attending school, recognizing the entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic valued by the donors.
