Jerry L. Kaster Scholarship

The Jerry L. Kaster Scholarship provides scholarship, fellowship, research assistantship, teaching assistantship, or project assistantship support for students enrolled in the School of Freshwater Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Students with a completed and up-to-date Panther Scholarship Portal General Application and Awards Application will be considered for scholarships, typically between February and April each spring. Scholarships awarded in the spring apply to the following school year, meaning students graduating that same spring or summer are not eligible. For example, applications reviewed in the spring are for scholarships beginning in the fall, so students graduating in May or August are not eligible. The scholarship supports students passionate about water, the environment, or atmospheric science and engaged in related activities.
