About This Opportunity

The Jerry Leer Advanced Accounting Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship awarded through the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Foundation. The scholarship supports accounting students enrolled in the Lubar College of Business who demonstrate strong academic performance in accounting coursework. Applicants must be full-time junior, senior, or graduate students in the accounting major/program, with graduate students having completed at least 50% of their degree credits. The scholarship recognizes students who have achieved a grade of B or better in Intermediate Accounting and have completed at least 30 credits at UWM. Overall academic performance in accounting courses is a primary consideration, while financial need may also be considered.
