About this opportunity
The Jerry & Louise Stein Public Health Admission Scholarship supports select incoming master's MPH students with an intended major in Community and Behavioral Health Promotion or Environmental Health Sciences at the Joseph J. Zilber College of Public Health at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Students are evaluated based on their admission data which can include letters of recommendation, reasons statement, date of admission, GPA, and other academic credentials.
This scholarship is specifically designed for newly admitted master's degree students entering the public health programs, with particular focus on two concentration areas within the MPH program. The selection process considers the holistic application profile submitted during the admissions process.
Awards are renewable for up to two years if the student maintains good academic standing and is enrolled full time (8+ credits). This renewable structure provides sustained financial support throughout the typical duration of a master's program in public health, allowing recipients to focus on their studies and professional development in public health without interruption.
