About this opportunity
The Jerry & Louise Stein Public Health Scholarship is awarded to select continuing BSPH (Bachelor of Science in Public Health) or Master's (MPH) students with an area of study in Community and Behavioral Health Promotion and Environmental Health Sciences at the Joseph J. Zilber College of Public Health at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. This scholarship supports students pursuing their education in public health with a focus on community health promotion and environmental health sciences.
The awards are non-renewable, meaning students must reapply each year. Recipients are required to maintain good academic standing and be enrolled full-time, defined as 8 or more credits per semester. Students are only eligible to receive one Vera Zilber and/or JCF Jerry & Louise Stein scholarship per academic year, ensuring that the funding is distributed among multiple qualified candidates.
To be considered for this scholarship and all other Zilber College of Public Health scholarships, students must complete the entire General Application through the UW-Milwaukee Panther Scholarship Portal. The award amount varies based on available funding and the number of qualified applicants each year.
