Jerry Saik and Family Award in Pharmacy and Athletics

The Jerry Saik and Family Award in Pharmacy and Athletics is awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing entering, transferring or continuing in any year of study for a Doctor of Pharmacy who are Golden Bear or Panda student-athletes. Selection is based on academic standing, with preference given to student(s) who are members of the Golden Bears Football Team. If no suitable candidate is eligible, this award can be given to student athletes with satisfactory academic standing, irrespective of their program of study. This endowed award was established by Mr Jerry Saik, BSC Pharmacy 1974 and BSC 1971, to support University of Alberta student-athletes pursuing pharmacy education.
