Jetset Your Degree - Financial Awards for Skill Development
About This Opportunity
The AHSS JETSET award supports students in taking part in international activities during the 2025-26 academic year that will enrich their degree and support their skill development or future employment. This award is exclusively for current students studying a degree at Queen's University Belfast within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, including Arts, English and Languages, Law, History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics, and Social Sciences, Education and Social Work. The activity must take place outside of the UK/Republic of Ireland, add value to the student's degree, enhance their skills, and be relevant to their chosen career. Students must have already confirmed or booked their placement, summer school, study exchange, or short course before applying. Travel must occur between 1st June 2025 and 31st August 2026, with the outbound date falling within these dates. Awards are subject to funding availability and are allocated through a competitive process. Higher funding amounts are available for students receiving maximum Student Finance support or care leavers/care experienced students known to the Widening Participation Unit.
