About this opportunity
The Jim Beck Prize in Forest Management is awarded annually to the student who achieves the highest mark in the course REN R 430 (Forest Resources Management). Eligibility is restricted to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science Forestry program or the Bachelor of Science Forest Business Management program at the University of Alberta. This endowed prize was established by friends, former students, co-workers and the forestry industry in recognition of Dr Beck's outstanding contribution to forestry education and research. Students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application and do not need to apply separately.
