Jim Carter Indigenous Student Award

The Jim Carter Indigenous Student Award is awarded to a full-time student in any NorQuest College credit program. This award recognizes Indigenous students who demonstrate financial need and strong academic performance with a grade point average of 75% or higher (B/3.0). The award provides $750 in financial support to help Indigenous students pursue their educational goals at NorQuest College. Preference is given to Indigenous students from the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, though this is not a strict requirement. Eligible applicants must be of Indigenous Heritage, including First Nation status or non-status, Métis, or Inuit.
