Jim Donlevy Football Award

The Jim Donlevy Football Award is awarded annually to an undergraduate or graduate student with satisfactory academic standing at the University of Alberta. Undergraduate recipients must maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on at least 18 units of course weight taken during the previous academic year, while graduate students require a 3.0 GPA. Entrance students are eligible with an admission average of at least 70%. The recipient must be a member of the Golden Bears Football Team and will be selected based on excellence in football both historically and in future potential, proven commitment to excellence exhibited by dedication to a year-round training program, and academic accomplishments. This endowed award is funded by the Golden Bears Football Alumni to support student-athletes who demonstrate both athletic and academic excellence.
