Jim Donlevy Football Award

The Jim Donlevy Football Award is awarded annually to an undergraduate or graduate student with satisfactory academic standing at the University of Alberta. Recipients must maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.0 for undergraduate students or 3.0 for graduate students, on at least 18 units of course weight taken during the previous academic year. Entrance students are eligible if they have an admission average of at least 70%. The recipient must be a member of the Golden Bears Football Team. Selection is based on excellence in football (both historically and in future potential), proven commitment to excellence as exhibited by dedication to a year-round training program, and academic accomplishments. The award is funded through endowed funds by the Golden Bears Football Alumni.
