Jim Lazaruk Football Award

The Jim Lazaruk Football Award is awarded to student(s) with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree at the University of Alberta who are member(s) of the Golden Bears football program. Selection is based on the level of excellence shown in the sport, the potential shown to develop as a significant contributor to the Golden Bears football program, contributions made to the football team on and off the field of play, and academic standing. This award is funded annually by an anonymous donor and recognizes outstanding student-athletes who demonstrate both athletic excellence and academic achievement while contributing to the University of Alberta's Golden Bears football program.
