Jimmy Guild Memorial Scholarship

The Jimmy Guild Memorial Scholarship is offered through USW Local 712 in partnership with Lewis-Clark State College for the 2026-2027 academic year. This scholarship supports full-time students at LCSC who are relatives of United Steel Workers International Union members (past or present). Eligible students must be majoring in Mathematics with interest in computer science, Technical and Industrial Division, or Career and Technical education. The scholarship requires a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (preferred) and applicants must submit a brief essay explaining their academic and career goals along with a transcript. Recipients must remain enrolled throughout the college year (9 months) or unused funds will be refunded to USW Local 712.
