Jiping Cheng Graduate Student Academic Achievement Award

The Jiping Cheng Graduate Student Academic Achievement Award was established by Dr. Rose Wang and Dr. Bruce D. McCombe in 2022 to support graduate students in the Department of Physics at the University at Buffalo. This award recognizes academic achievement and progress among physics graduate students who have completed at least two years of study. The award provides variable financial support to students demonstrating significant academic accomplishment in their graduate program. Recipients must be enrolled in the Department of Physics within the College of Arts and Sciences at the University at Buffalo and must demonstrate measurable academic progress after their second year of graduate study.
