JMW Farms Scholarship with one year placement

The JMW Farms Scholarship is a competitive award open to 2nd year BSc or 1st year FdSc students studying at Harper Adams University who are interested in pursuing a career in the Pig Industry with JMW Farms. The scholarship provides a significant contribution towards education of £9,000 in the year prior to placement, with £4,500 awarded in the current academic year and the opportunity to receive up to an additional £4,500 subject to satisfactory completion of the Industrial Placement. A condition of the scholarship is that recipients undertake their placement year with JMW Farms, gaining valuable employment experience in the pig industry. The award is evaluated on merit of the submitted application, academic achievements to date, and interview performance. The award is paid in two equal parts - half in February 2026 and the remaining balance in May 2026. This scholarship combines financial support with practical industry experience to help students develop careers in the pig industry.
