Joan Dorothy Whitehead Crowther Book Prize in Medieval Studies

The Joan Dorothy Whitehead Crowther Book Prize in Medieval Studies is awarded to undergraduate or graduate students with superior academic achievement who have successfully completed a course in medieval studies in the Department of English and Film Studies at the University of Alberta. The recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement. This endowed prize was established by family and friends to honour the memory of Dr. Joan Crowther, Professor of English who served from 1967-1984. Students are automatically considered for this award based on completion of the General Application through the university's scholarship portal.
