Joan H. Hensley Scholarship

The Joan H. Hensley Scholarship fund provides financial assistance to graduating high school seniors or past graduates of a high school in Dallas County who intend to pursue a degree at an accredited trade or vocational school or community college. This scholarship is administered by Communities Foundation of Texas and aims to support students pursuing technical and vocational education pathways. Selection criteria include school and community participation, demonstrated leadership potential, financial need, and the quality of the essay response. Awards can be up to $5,000 per year per student.
