Joan Longridge Memorial Award

Established in 2011 as part of Lakeland College's Centennial Campaign, the Joan Longridge Memorial Award is available to a full-time student enrolled in a Human Services program. Priority is given to an Educational Assistant student who intends to work with special needs students in school. The recipient must display academic achievement, commitment and dedication to the special education field, a positive attitude, and good work ethic. This award supports students pursuing careers in special education and human services fields.
