About this opportunity
The Joan Mattingley and Charles Cameron Scholarship was established from the bequest of Dr Joan Mattingley, who graduated with a PhD in Biological Chemistry in 1977, and her husband Charles Cameron who had a lifelong interest in music. The scholarship provides funds administered by the Victoria University of Wellington Foundation for Master's studies in Chemistry and Music, and can include a domestic and overseas travel component. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage enrolment in Master's programmes in both Chemistry and Music which may include domestic or international travel components. Annually, up to two individuals will be awarded, with one awardee from the field of Chemistry and another from the field of Music. Recipients will be asked to write a letter of appreciation and provide a brief summary of their achievements while on the course.
