About This Opportunity

The John A. MacPherson, Q.C. Memorial Scholarship is offered annually to students in the Faculty of Law, JD program at the University of Calgary. This scholarship honors the memory of the late John A. MacPherson, Q.C. and is provided by his family. The award recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding ability in advocacy skills while maintaining satisfactory academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.00. The scholarship is available to students in their second or third year of the JD program and is open to students of any citizenship or residency status. Up to two scholarships of up to $2,650 each are awarded annually through the Law Nominated Awards process for New and Continuing Students.
