John and Barbara Poole Scholarship

The John and Barbara Poole Scholarship is awarded to students with superior academic achievement in any year of an after-degree program in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta. The scholarship recognizes academic excellence and provides financial support to students pursuing their after-degree education credentials. Selection is based on academic standing, with preference given to students who have graduated from undergraduate degree programs in Art & Design, Drama, Music, or Dance. This scholarship is funded by an endowment established by the family of John and Barbara Poole and is managed by the Edmonton Community Foundation. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the university's scholarship portal.
