John and Joyce Dively Education Leadership Scholarship

The John and Joyce Dively Education Leadership Scholarship supports graduate students in Educational Leadership at Eastern Illinois University. The scholarship is awarded to part-time or full-time graduate students enrolled in the Department of Educational Leadership, or those who have recently completed their degree. The selection committee evaluates candidates based on their potential for future leadership contributions to public schools and the students they serve. Considerations include financial need, personal hardship, family circumstances (such as single parent status, multiple children, or special needs), military service, community service, and Coles County residency. Applicants must submit a resume and letter of application demonstrating their qualifications. Recipients must maintain good academic standing and cannot receive the award more than once. This scholarship recognizes individuals with strong leadership potential who have demonstrated commitment to education and community service.
