John and Mary Kensil Delta Chi Scholarship

The John and Mary Kensil Delta Chi Scholarship supports full-time undergraduate and graduate students in Business majors who are members of the Delta Chi Fraternity at Eastern Illinois University. The scholarship gives preference to existing or former Chapter Presidents or members who demonstrate substantive chapter and campus leadership. Recipients must be Pre-Business majors, Business majors accepted into the EIU School of Business, or graduate students accepted into the graduate Business program, and must maintain good standing with the Delta Chi Fraternity. If the Delta Chi Fraternity is not recognized by the university, the scholarship may be awarded to the highest-ranking Inter-Fraternity Council elected officer majoring in Business. Preference is given to applicants with interest in international studies of finance. Financial need may be considered but is not a requirement. Recipients may reapply and receive the award again if they continue to meet the eligibility criteria. The award is announced in the spring and awarded in the fall.
