John Bush Memorial Fund Scholarship

The John Bush Memorial Fund Scholarship is an enduring legacy established through the Will of John James Bush to support Thai-born students in need of financial assistance. The scholarship provides $5,000 to cover education needs at various levels including primary, secondary, tertiary and/or post-graduate studies. Students must be born in Thailand and can be Australian citizens, permanent residents, or international students. The fund honors John Bush's lifelong interest in Thailand and Thai culture, and his commitment to charitable contributions to the country. The scholarship is administered by Federation University Australia and is available for students studying at the Ballarat, Berwick, Gippsland, or Wimmera campuses. One scholarship is available annually to new or commencing students pursuing Bachelor, Honours, or Postgraduate level studies in higher education.
