About this opportunity
The John D. "Mac" McNeill Aviation Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship opportunity offered through the Tarrant County College Foundation to support students pursuing aviation maintenance technology education. This scholarship is available to students currently enrolled at or entering Tarrant County College who intend to pursue an Associate of Applied Science Degree or a Certificate of Completion in Aviation Maintenance Technology. The scholarship does not require demonstration of financial need and focuses on academic merit. Recipients must maintain at least 9 credit hours during the award period and demonstrate strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of 2.75 for new applicants (3.0 preferred) or high school equivalent credentials for first-time TCC students. The scholarship offers renewal opportunities for spring semester if recipients achieve a minimum 3.0 GPA in the Aviation Maintenance Technology curriculum and complete at least 9 credit hours in the fall semester.
