About this opportunity

The John E Brownlee Memorial Prize in Local Government Law is awarded annually to a student at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law. The prize recognizes superior academic achievement in the subject of Local Government Law. As an alternative, if Local Government Law is not offered in a given year, the award will be given for excellence in the subject of Land Titles. This endowed prize is funded by Brownlee LLP, Edmonton, supporting legal education and recognizing outstanding performance in specialized areas of law relevant to municipal and local governance.
