John E. Oyler Scholarship

The John E. Oyler Scholarship is offered annually to a continuing undergraduate student in The School of Languages, Linguistics, Literatures and Cultures at the University of Calgary, majoring in East Asian Language Studies, German, or Russian. The scholarship was established by faculty members of the former Department of Germanic, Slavic and East Asian Studies. The award is based on academic merit and provides financial support to students pursuing language studies in these specific areas. Recipients must be in their second, third, or fourth year of undergraduate studies within the Faculty of Arts.
