John Harold Louis Moreau Scholarship

The John Harold Louis Moreau Scholarship is awarded annually to students with superior academic achievement who are bilingual in Canada's official languages and have completed the APT portion of their program in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta. Recipients must demonstrate oral and written proficiency in French and English and successfully complete at least one course in the methods of teaching English or French as a second language. Preference is given to students who have declared Second Languages: French as their major or minor and who intend to teach in both official languages of Canada upon graduation. The scholarship is funded through endowed funds from the Estate of Alice Moreau.
