John J. & Janet H. Sung Medical School Scholarship Fund

The John J. & Janet H. Sung Medical School Scholarship Fund was established in 2017 by John J. Sung and Janet H. Sung, who arrived from Korea with $100 and an American dream. The couple established Windsong Radiology Group and dedicated their careers to improving healthcare in Western New York. This scholarship supports medical students enrolled in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo who demonstrate financial need, exceptional character, and high academic merit. Preference is given to students from Western New York. Applicants must complete the FAFSA to demonstrate financial need.
