About This Opportunity

The John James Charitable Trust provides grants to individuals and organizations involved in ministry which advances the Christian faith. The Trust supports those based in the UK or supported by a UK-based mission agency. Applications are accepted during the months of April and November only. The Trust now supports those seeking theological training courses by making grants to selected Christian training organisations through bursary schemes, rather than by making grants to individual student applicants. However, they will still consider applications from those in church-based, Minister-in-Training roles. Successful applicants are asked to provide termly updates so that the Trust can support them in prayer. The application process includes a pre-qualification questionnaire, followed by a review against the Trust's Charitable Objects, Guidelines and Funding Priorities. References are taken up to support applications, which are then reviewed at the next available meeting.
