John James Ower Medal and Scholarship in Pathology

The John James Ower Medal and Scholarship in Pathology is awarded annually to a convocating student for superior academic achievement in Pathology. The award is given through the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta. The scholarship is funded by endowed funds from the Medical Alumni and friends and colleagues of the late Dr. Ower, through the Alumni Association. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application, and no separate application is required. If there is no suitable candidate in a given year, no award will be made.
