John M. Luther Business Scholarship

The John M. Luther Business Scholarship is designed for incoming freshmen and new transfer students pursuing majors in Business at Eastern Illinois University's Lumpkin College of Business. The scholarship supports students who demonstrate high achievement in previous educational environments and maintain academic excellence. Recipients must be new to Eastern Illinois University, either as freshmen or transfer students, and must be accepted into the Lumpkin College of Business with a declared major in Business. The scholarship requires maintenance of an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher throughout the award period. The award is announced in the spring semester and disbursed in the fall semester. Eligible majors include Accounting, Business Administration, Business Undecided, Career and Technical Education: Business Education, Finance, Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, and various Pre-Business concentrations.
