John Martin OAM Residential Scholarship

The John Martin OAM Residential Scholarship is part of the UQ Residential Scholarships Scheme, established in 2022 by Alumni Friends in recognition of John Martin's (OAM) extensive service to Alumni Friends. This scholarship supports domestic students experiencing financial hardship with the cost of residential accommodation at the University of Queensland. The scholarship provides $4,500 per annum towards accommodation fees for students enrolled full-time in an approved program and residing at an approved accommodation provider. Preference is given to applicants from Regional, Rural or Remote Areas, and to students enrolled in the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law. Under the Queensland Commitment, the annual distributions of the endowment support students experiencing financial hardship with the cost of residential accommodation throughout their minimum completion time.
