John McLeod Scholarship

The John McLeod Scholarship aims to support mature-age UniSC students enrolled in a nursing, law or medical program and provides financial assistance to offset the costs associated with tertiary study that can have a significant impact on a student's ability to further their education. The scholarship shall be awarded to mature age students enrolled in either Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Criminology & Justice, or Bachelor of Biomedical Science. Each Scholarship is valued at $5,000 over one (1) year and paid to the recipient in two lump sums of $2,500 after Census date in Study Period 1 and Study Period 2 of the year awarded. Part-time and full-time recipients are eligible for the full scholarship (pro-rata will not be applied to part-time enrolment). This scholarship is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor.
