About this opportunity
The John P.L. Roberts Award is offered on a rotating departmental basis to continuing undergraduate students in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Calgary. In even years, the award is given to one student in each of the Department of Art and Division of Music. In odd years, it is awarded to one student in each of the Division of Drama and the Division of Dance. The award recognizes academic merit with a minimum GPA requirement of 3.20 in the most recent five full-course equivalents, and honors the most outstanding creative presentations. This award was established by the Associates of the Faculty of Fine Arts, friends of John Roberts, and the University of Calgary from the Building on the Vision Campaign. Students must be nominated and cannot apply directly for this scholarship, which is valued at up to $1,500 per recipient.
