John Reynolds Klai II Endowed Scholarship Fund for Architecture

The John Reynolds Klai II Endowed Scholarship Fund for Architecture is available to students enrolled in Architecture or Landscape Architecture programs at North Dakota State University. This scholarship specifically targets 4th year students who have earned a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher. The scholarship emphasizes support for students interested in pursuing design and planning in an urban community context. Applicants must demonstrate their passion, leadership, service, and design philosophy through a maximum 1000-word statement and submit a resume of student projects if possible. Preference is given to students who demonstrate financial need and are from diverse classifications, including nontraditional students, multicultural students, and students with documented disabilities who have established eligibility with the Office of Disability. The scholarship also values commitment to leadership and service through participation in student organizations related to Architecture or Landscape Architecture, such as American Institute of Architect Students, American Society of Landscape Architecture, Tau Sigma Delta, Freedom by Design, and other organizations on campus or in the community.
