About this opportunity
The John Spencer Middleton and Jack Spencer Gordon Middleton Scholarship was established to provide financial support to graduate students attending the University of Regina. The donor, the late Mr. John Spencer Gordon Middleton, was well-known during his thirty-five year career as an Engineer for the Saskatchewan Department of Public Works. A variable number of awards of a variable amount are presented each year based on budget available to graduate students enrolled in any Faculty who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need. The scholarship recognizes graduate students with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 80% who are registered in at least 6 credit hours in the semester the scholarship is presented. While the award may be presented to a student in financial need, it is primarily intended to recognize academic achievement.
